The fishing village of Porto Palma, today made up of about a hundred houses arranged in a semicircle in front of the homonymous gulf, owes its maximum development to the last century, when the fishermen mainly devoted themselves to fishing and tuna processing. For this reason the locality is known to most with the name of Tunaria. The ancient buildings, once used for tuna processing, have been perfectly restored and used today for tourist purposes. Particularly characteristic is its small port, obtained from the mouth of a small stream, whose capacity exceeds a few dozen units. Near the houses there is a pretty little beach, mostly pebbly, as well as the rest of the coast that goes from here to Funtanazza. The transparent and clear waters are ideal for those who want to enjoy the sun and take a nice swim in total relaxation and solitude
